REQUEST FOR SUPPORT IN BUILDING THE CAPACITY AND EMPOWERING (20) FEMALE REFUGEE, LESS PRIVILEGED AND IDPS WITHIN ABUJA
Endam Home of Hope is a non-governmental organization founded by Ndaga
Yvonne Endam a Refugee from Southern Cameroun to help support Refugees
and other internally displaced and less privilege in Nigeria.
She got
the inspiration from her experience as a refugee in Nigeria to create
and organise an outreach programme for other Refugees and internally
displaced persons in Nigeria with the hope of changing the narrative and
lifestyle of lives.
Objectives
The essence of this proposal is to
seek your partnership towards giving a better life through education
and capacity building/ Skills acquisition for this group of persons. The
area of focus is catering services and small scale business for not
more than 20 vulnerable females for the time duration of Six Months.
Beneficiaries:
The
upcoming project is aim at training 20 vulnerable females (Refugees,
internally displaced persons and less privilege) on catering services
and empowering them to set up small business scales within six (6)
months. The selected vulnerable beneficiaries will be transported to and
from their residences for a period of six months. They shall be
provided with equipment such as (Pots, Plates, Spoons, Gas burners etc.)
Monitoring indicators:
We
also hoped to empower them with the needed capital to start up eatery
businesses of their choice. They shall be monitored for a period of 1
year by the Endam Home of Hope to make sure that the beneficiaries are
self-resilience post training; they shall be monitored in the following
aspects:
– We will measure their success in terms of their output.
That is, how they have be able to expand their business with the given
capital.
– They will provide picture practicing report of the business.

With
this, the beneficiaries shall employ and step down the training to
others in other to help in reducing the poverty and the living condition
of refugees in Nigeria.
About the founder:
Ndaga Yvonne Endam is a
Writer, a Nurse and Managing Director of the NKA Borngreat
International Limited. The source of income of the sponsorship of this
organization is gotten from the sales of the book that Yvonne wrote
tattled “Conceive it and give time its place: The Plight of Refugees”.
Endam
Home of Hope has supported the IDP Camp at Karamagigi, Abuja, Durumi
IDP Camp and Covid 19 palliative support to the city of refuge orphanage
Katampe Mpape Abuja.
