Endam Home of Hope Participates in Oxfam’s Strategic Plan Validation Workshop

At Endam Home of Hope (EHHOP), we believe that lasting change begins with continuous learning, meaningful collaboration, and shared commitment to the communities we serve.
We are proud to share that our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Yvonne Ndaga, recently participated in the Strategic Plan Validation Workshop organized by Oxfam. The workshop brought together development practitioners, humanitarian organizations, and sector leaders to review, refine, and strengthen strategic approaches that will guide future programming and maximize collective impact.
The workshop served as an important platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaborative reflection. Participants explored innovative strategies, shared practical experiences, and discussed emerging opportunities for building stronger, more inclusive, and resilient communities. Such validation processes play a critical role in ensuring that strategic plans remain responsive, evidence-based, and centered on the needs of the people they are designed to serve. Oxfam has consistently emphasized learning, partnerships, accountability, and community-driven approaches as essential elements of sustainable development and humanitarian programming.
For Dr. Ndaga and the Endam Home of Hope team, the workshop provided valuable insights that will help strengthen our organizational planning, enhance our programme delivery, and reinforce our commitment to inclusive humanitarian and development work. Engaging with fellow practitioners offered an opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives, exchange best practices, and identify innovative solutions to the complex challenges affecting vulnerable populations.
As an organization working alongside refugees, internally displaced persons, women, children, and underserved communities, we recognize that no single organization can achieve sustainable impact alone. Strategic partnerships enable organizations to leverage shared expertise, align priorities, and develop solutions that create lasting change for the communities we serve.
Participation in forums such as this reflects Endam Home of Hope’s commitment to institutional growth and continuous improvement. Every lesson learned strengthens our capacity to design programmes that are more effective, more inclusive, and better equipped to respond to evolving humanitarian and development needs.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Oxfam for convening this insightful and impactful workshop and for creating a space where collaboration, innovation, and collective learning could flourish. Opportunities like these reinforce the importance of working together to address today’s challenges while preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities.
As we move forward, Endam Home of Hope remains committed to translating these valuable insights into meaningful action. We will continue investing in partnerships, strengthening our organizational capacity, and championing community-led solutions that empower vulnerable populations and amplify marginalized voices.
Together, through collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose, we can build stronger, more resilient, and more inclusive communities where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
