Endam Home of Hope Participates in Oxfam’s Strategic Plan Validation Workshop At Endam Home of Hope (EHHOP), we believe that lasting change begins with continuous learning, meaningful collaboration, and shared commitment to the communities we serve. We are proud to share that our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Yvonne Ndaga, recently participated in the Strategic Plan Validation Workshop organized by Oxfam. The workshop brought together development practitioners, humanitarian organizations, and sector leaders to review, refine, and strengthen strategic approaches that will guide future programming and maximize collective impact. The workshop served as an important platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaborative reflection. Participants explored innovative strategies, shared practical experiences, and discussed emerging opportunities for building stronger, more inclusive, and resilient communities. Our Vocational Training Centre in Oron, Akwa Ibom State, continues to make remarkable progress as women and young people dedicate themselves to learning practical trades in tailoring and hairdressing. The centre has become a vibrant space where determination meets opportunity, enabling participants to transform their talents into sustainable livelihoods. From Learning Skills to Building Businesses For many displaced and vulnerable individuals, unemployment and limited economic opportunities remain significant barriers to achieving stability. Through hands-on vocational training, Endam Home of Hope is helping bridge this gap by providing participants with practical, marketable skills that prepare them for employment, entrepreneurship, and financial independence.
